About Dave
David Prothero has been rafting for the past 15 years around the globe. This is a blog that he has been running since 2005. You will find stories from some of the interesting places he has been during his times on the river and about the people he meets.
Rafting and kayaking first took hold for David on a trip to Nepal in 1995, when he did a trip on the Kali Gandaki. It was a great 5 day trip and that piqued his interest in exploring rivers.
A huge number of people, from family, to friends have helped along this journey and continue to. With one and a half years off due to an Injury when he was working in Chile on the Rio Futaeufu in Northern Patagonia, he is now back out on the river and enjoying the times there.
Some new missions are planned in the next year. Keep up with is going on here and on his photography blog @ http://daveprotherophotography.com/blogAlso check out his twitter feeds for updated info and what is happening in his world.
Cheers
David Prothero
